COMMUNITY SERVICE

FOCUS ON NAVAJO MINISTRIES

Ladies, as you know there are a variety of needs in our community.  We have had a request for quilts and other items for the children at Navajo Ministries.  They range in age of infant to teenagers.  It is a shame they are not in great homes at Christmas but the reality is they are not.  Let us help them where they are.

We would like to have 20  plus quilts to give to Navajo Ministries for the children they are helping.  We have some in the community service box but we will need more.  If you have a quilt you would like to make and donate, please bring it to the October, November or December Meetings and give it to Patty for the cause.  If we give them more, they will have some for children they provide for in the future.

I will also have a box for food donations as well as new clothing items of any size, books, games, etc.

When I spoke to Kelly at Navajo Ministries about this she mainly stressed food items as they feed these children and have an after school program where they provide snacks.  This said, any food items are great and in quantity.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE THROUGH OUT THE YEARS.

YOU ARE ALL WONDERFUL AND GENEROUS.

Patty Hanscom, Chairperson
