The San Juan Quilter's Guild meets the
second Tuesday of each month at the
Farmington Civic Center, 200 W. Arrington St.

Morning Meeting
Setup and get acquainted 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Meeting begins at 10:00 a.m.

Evening Meeting
Setup and get acquainted 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.

Lily of the Valley

Mother's Day was first observed in 1908. It was designated by Presidential proclamation, and was recognized officially by Congress and the President in 1914. It is celebrated in honor of Mothers on the second Sunday of May.

May 6, 2008   Meeting and Program


Daytime: 9:30 a.m. Social Time, 10:00 a.m. meeting
Program: Pat and Rita will have a workshop to make Miniature Quilts for the Quilt Show Mini-Auction.

They will have patterns and fabric.  You need to bring your machine, cutting supplies and basic sewing needs.  We could use a few irons and boards.  Plan on helping with this!

Fat Quarter Lottery: Purples and Lavenders

Bring something to share if you plan to stay.

SOMETHING NEW: Betsy Lee will be teaching the Crazy Eight Strip Teaser.  You must be pres-signed up and paid for the pattern.  This will be a fun class.  Bring all your supplies.  Look on page 7 of the April-May newsletter. This will be after the regular morning guild meeting.
 

Evening:
6:30 p.m. Social Time, 7:00 p.m. meeting. Program: Same as morning
