WELCOME

We are glad you are a member of the San Juan Quilters Guild.
■ Our meetings are the second Tuesday of every month. Changes in a meeting date will be announced.

■ Meetings are held at the Farmington Civic Center on West Arrington.

■ Day meetings start at 9:30am and evening meetings start at 6:30pm.

■ We wear name tags. If you forget you can pick on up at the membership table. We have SJQG pins for sale, too.

■ Fat Quarter Lottery Bring a fat quarter and receive a chance to win the treasure. Check the newsletter for theme of the month.

■ There are door prizes available at both meeting. Tickets are 3 for $1.00.

■ We have a quilt show the second weekend of October. Everyone is encouraged to enter quilts and help with the show. Always check your newsletter for information or updates. (2007 dates October 11th is set-up,
the show is October 12-13)

■ We do Community Service projects. There are always projects being worked on at home or for programs. Just ask the Community Service chair person. We also collect toiletries to give to organizations.

■ We will raffle 1 quilt this year. Members sale tickets for the quilt (Or donate). The proceeds are used to provide for our community service projects and educational programs.

■ The SJQG offers a variety of programs at the monthly meetings.

■ Potlucks are held after the monthly morning meetings. Members sign up to provide snacks for the evening meetings.

■ Board meetings are held every other month. The meetings are at 9:00am at the First Presbyterian Church at 865 North Dustin. You are welcome to attend.

■ www.sjqg.org is our website. Check it out. There is current, upcoming and historical information on our site. Even pictures!

■ We have a bi-monthly newsletter. Make sure you read it so you will know what is happening! New information is posted on the front page of the web site regularly.
