Program:  Melinda Bula’s Cutting Garden Quilts: Fabulous Fusible Flowers

            Lecture:  Developing the Artist Within Through Quilts and Wearable Arts.

Take a humorous look through the eyes of a quilt artist as she finds her way through the world of art, quilting and wearable arts. Melinda shows the evolution of her art with humor and lots of inspiration.

• Fat Quarter Drawing:  Blues like the New Mexico Sky. Blue on blue, mottled, blenders, marbled or hand-dyed look.

• Round Robin:  Please leave your box and Susan will do the unveiling of the quilts.

• Pot Luck:  see page 2 in the newsletter.

Program:  “New Mexico’s Centennial Textiles”

This program brings to life the diversity of New Mexico and exposes us to a wide array of textile expressions at the time of New Mexico’s statehood.

• Donna and Colleen will also have their hand-dyed fabric for sale!!!

• Fat Quarter Drawing:  Blacks like the Black Bear. (the state animal).  Black on black, mottled, blenders, marbled or hand-dyed look.

• Round Robin:  just one more round!  Please leave your box and do not take one until after Susan explains the next round.
